Species: LÖLLINGITE Locality: Globe Mine, Springfield, NH Specimen Size: 2.4 cm specimen of massive crystaline lollingite. Field Collected: John Reiner? #3504 (a purchased specimen) Catalog No.: 1773 Notes: Lollingite is reported from the quartz-feldspar wall zone of the Globe Mine in Pegmatite Investigations, pg. 280. |

Species: LÖLLINGITE Locality: Parker Mtn. Mine, Center Strafford, NH Specimen Size: 7 cm, 1.2 lb. specimen of massive lollingite Field Collected: Tom Mortimer Catalog No.: Notes: Gray-white oxide coating (likely acquired from years of burial in the mine dump) disguises the species, but weight of specimen gives it away. |

Species: LÖLLINGITE Locality: Parker Mtn. Mine, Center Strafford, NH Specimen Size: 3 cm lollingite crystal blade (repaired) on matrix, with yellow-green scorodite coating Field Collected: Tom Mortimer Catalog No.: 622 Notes: Blade thickness at center about 2mm. This is as close as I have come to a complete large lollingite crystal. A Center Strafford, NH lollingite was used to illustrate Dana's System of Mineralogy vol. 1. |

Species: LOLLINGITE Locality: Parker Mtn. Mine, Strafford, NH Specimen Size: 4 cm high specimen Field Collected: Don Swenson - 1989 Catalog No.: A Don Swenson specimen Notes: This lollingite is very silvery-lustrous compared with other Parker Mtn. Mine lollingite specimens. The matrix appears to be ferrisicklerite, which is uncommon at Parker. I will test this lollingite on the off chance it is something else. |

Species: LOLLINGITE Locality: Palermo #1 Mine, Groton, NH Specimen Size: 3.8 cm specimen. Field Collected: per label "ex. Whitmore collection" Catalog No.: TBC Notes: Purchased from Ted Johnson, Yankee Minerals, 8/24/25, $15. Has number 0260. Whitmore & Lawrence's book, The Pegmatite Mines Known as Palermo lists lollingite, but has no illustration. This is a solid massive chunk of lollingite with no matrix. Could jus as well be arsenopyrite, also listed for Palermo. EDS testing planned. Mindat.org (2025) has two photos of arsenopyrite micro-crystals, but no lollingite photos. Assuming this large primary arsenic mineral specimen is from Palermo, it is concerning that realgar is the only secondary arsenic species reported, (no known Palermo examples). Pyrrhotite has a similar appearance, but is slightly magnetic. This specimen is not even slightly magnetic. |
